Jackie Buchanan
Private Wine Advisor

Growing up around her family's winery, Mount Edward in Central Otago, Jackie developed a passion for wine from an early age. She has completed several vintages, managed the cellar door and most recently worked in the London wine trade, where she completed her WSET II and III with Distinction. With a background spanning both wine and science, Jackie brings curiosity, enthusiasm and a genuine love of discovery to her role, helping people explore new producers, regions and find wines that suit their own tastes.
Outside of wine, Jackie is happiest near the ocean. She is a PADI Divemaster, is currently attempting to learn to surf (with mixed success), and enjoys hiking and pilates. Half Kiwi and half Canadian, she's still happily discovering her new home in Sydney.
